Department of Forest and Fire Protection of California tweeted Thursday afternoon for California Wildfires that the new fires name Lilac fire in San Diego County. And other is Liberty fire in Riverside County, fueled by continue winds Santa Ana and low humidity.
Winds were in the 30 to 50 mph range in San Diego County. Southern California is also having humidity levels in the teens. Experts says humidity in San Diego Thursday afternoon was just 5 percent.
According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection 5,000 plus firefighters have been dealing with the first four large wildfires.
As per eye witness The Thomas fire was the first to start. Which burn over 100,000 acres and is expected to intensify. The main reason was the increasing winds. The Skirball fire is small. But its near to heavily populated areas of Los Angeles. which has drawn widespread attention. The Creek and Rye fires continue to burn Thursday with little containment.
UCLA canceled classes Thursday because of the Skirball fire.
Unified School District schools in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles and 17 schools on Los Angeles’ west side were close through Friday. At least 265 schools close.
Thomas fire:-
The Thomas fire in Ventura County is the largest of the four fires.Which start Monday night as a 50-acre brush fire in foothills east. Which is Santa Paula and grew to 10,000 acres in just four hours.
according to the Ventura County Fire Department, It spread to over 115,000 acres by late Thursday.
Creek fire
According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection,
The Creek fire is located in the Kagel Canyon area above Los Angeles. Which has reach to 15,323 acres and destroy at least 15 buildings and damage additional 15. Over 150,000 residents move to other places.
Skirball fire:-
Also the Skirball fire spread in just 475 acres till now, but its near to Los Angeles.
The fire is near to the Getty Center and a museum in western Los Angeles. Officials were focuse on keeping the fire from jumping the freeway and heading east.
Liberty fire:-
Though as per Fire department : The Liberty fire moving to Murrieta which is California north of Temecula. It was up to 300 acres Thursday at 8 p.m. local time.
