People living near to Cheruthoni river in Idukki, Periyar river in Kochi are warn against the overflow of water in the river.Water level in the Idukki reservoirs already cross the maximum capacity. It force the officials to release more water by opening of 2 more gates. Water level in the Idukki dam reservoir came down to 2400.60 ft at 4pm on Saturday.
However, Cochin International Airport is functioning well so far. Though there is no report of cancellation of services so far.

Also state Revenue minister E Chandrasekharan already review the flood situations in the reion and inform the necessary steps will be taken. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan review the flood situations. And announce the help of Rs 4 lakh for the relatives of those who die in the rain, Rs 10 lakh help for people who’s home are completely destroy.
Union Home Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh made aerial survey of the demolish Kerala.
