Saksham Scholarship Scheme is created for students under Human Resources Development Mission to provide scholarship to top talents in India by conducting online examinations for the candidates. Students might have lot of questions in their mind related to Saksham Scholarship Examination.

Every year, 1000 best students are selected based on merit in examination. Out of these 1000 students, 500 scholarships are reserved for students opting diploma courses and 500 are reserved for students pursuing degree courses.
Adding more details to the topic, reservations are available for SC(Scheduled Castes), ST(Scheduled Tribes) and OBC(Other Backward Class) candidates of 15%, 7.5% and 27%, respectively.

Eligibility Criteria for Saksham Scholarship:
1) Candidate should have passed the 10th standard examination (matriculation) or any equal qualification obtained from Central or State government.
2) Candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for Saksham Scholarship Examination 2019.
3) Candidate age should be between 16 and 40.
Application Fees: Rs. 300 (this amount will reimburse to the candidates securing 35% of marks)
Scholarship Details:
There are three types of scholarship provided by HRDM(Human Resources Development Ministry). They are:
Type A: Rs. 6000 award for two consecutive months for top 689 candidates who score more than 60%.
Rs. 3000 for Type B, award for two consecutive months for 523 candidates who score more than 50%
Type C: Rs. 1500 reward for the two consecutive months for 235 candidates more than 40%

General Studies
This section will contain general questions on Indian History, World History, Indian Polity, Important Dates and Events, Science & Technology, Countries and capitals, Science and innovations, World organizations, Famous Places in India, Books And Authors, Current Events of National and International Importance, History of India in respect of Indian National Movement, Economy, Geography of India & World.
General Aptitude
There will be general questions of aptitude along with some difficult as well. Most of the questions will be from Syllogistic reasoning, Arithmetical number series, Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and decoding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, Arithmetic reasoning, Non-verbal series, Seating Arrangements, Blood relations, Ranking, Distance & Direction, Mathematical Inequalities.
Quantitative Aptitude
This section shows your ability to solve problems quickly. Mostly questions will be from Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work.
English
Its better if you prepare English for all sections from various sources. You can easily learn and prepare from Internet, books, youtube etc. Mostly questions will be from these sections, Spotting errors, Fill in the blank Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms and antonyms, Reconstruction of sentence & passage, one word substitution, Phrase substitution, Jumbled up sentences, Double blanks in a sentence, commonly misspelled words, Comprehension passages, correction of sentences, synthesis of sentences. However, main purpose of this section is to check the candidates ability to understand Basic English.

Saksham Scholarship Examination Details:
There will be four sections and each section will be have the time limit. However, each candidate will have to complete the given section within given time.
All candidates must pay attention that here will be no back option, which means candidate need to attempt the question appearing on the screen or press next button leaving the question unanswered. Candidate must make it sure that they attempt all the questions within given time limit for each section as no extra time will be given.
