According to the police, On 18th June 2018, Monday evening, There was double shooting in Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood.
Two people wounded in shooting on Wylie Ave in the Hill District. They were rushed to the hospital, One was in critical condition, the other was stable.
Officials inform that this drive by shooting happened around 4:22 p.m. in the 2400 block of Wylie Avenue between Chauncey and Duff Streets.
Investigators update that Wopo and the other victim were riding in a white Mazda SUV. Where they become the victim of shooting at close range. Police found the vehicle in the middle of the street. Two bullet holes were there in the driver’s side window of the SUV.
Taylor Maglin, rapper’s manager confirm his lost of his client life on Facebook. He mention that “”I lost my brother today and this is the worst feeling in the world. He was destined for greatness and he wanted the best for his friends, family and community”. Maglin says of the artist born Travon Smart. “We lost a great person today, but just know I will do everything in my power to make his memory live on forever. Love you bro”.
Both(Wopo & other victim) taken to the hospital for treatment. But Wopo was in critical condition and later he was declare dead, other person was in stable condition.
Alicia George, Pittsburgh Police spokesperson, “An investigation is going on”. Police has already sealed the incident place and doing investigation.Also police is going door to door to get some information which can help to solve this shooting case. One person lives on the street inform that their vehicle was being followed. The second vehicle pulled along side it, fired two shots and then fled.
